He was a man of the sea,
This man named Jimmy
Sailed and fished for shrimp
On his equipment he didn't skimp!

Only the best he would use
All the other he refused.
Was the same with his crew,
He only used a chosen few.

Yes a Shrimper he was, by trade.
He loved the sea and always prayed
For protection for his ship and men
As the sea carried them on the wind.

He loved the life, riding the sea.
Did his best all would agree.
Made many friends far and near.
Loved the Lord and made that clear.

The Love of Jesus he did share.
Good works and words he didn't spare.
He still loves to win the lost.
Pushes on for the Lord at all costs!

But Jimmy the Shrimper has moved on.
No longer relying on his brawn.
A master of the web he is now.
There's none smarter, so he takes a bow!

He keeps our websites going smooth.
From the sea to air waves, he has moved.
But he still helps out down at the dock
They need his experience quite a lot!

He's loved by one, and all of us.
We go to him because we trust
His words of wisdom and advise.
He keeps us going, he is so wise.

Scripture from Romans 10:

For whosoever shall call upon the
name of the Lord shall be saved.
How then shall they call on him
in whom they have not believed?
And how shall they believe in him
of whom they have not heard? And
how shall they hear without a
preacher?
