Then came
Jesus from Galilee, to the River Jordan
To be baptized by John, God's chosen one
He protested that he wasn't worthy to do it
But Jesus was obeying God, knowing it must be
done
So the heavens were
opened unto Him as He was baptized,
He came straight up out of the water, the Spirit
of God lit on Him
And a voice from heaven said, this is My Beloved
Son
In Whom I am well pleased! And Jesus Light was
never dim
He has gone back to heaven to live with the
Father now
He doesn't walk the banks of the River Jordan
anymore
But He will always be walking the path to our hearts
door
Wanting to come in and live there forevermore!
