Luke 2: 7 And she
brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped
him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in
a manger; because there was no room for them
in the inn.

O
Holy Night The Birth
Caesar Augustus
sent out a decree Prophesy was fulfilled as
they came from Galilee Joseph and Mary her
being great with child Were obedient
traveling the miles
The rooms were all
full everywhere they went Again prophesy was
fulfilled by this great event Her baby was
born in a stable out back He was wrapped in
swaddling clothes, like an old sack
Away
in the distance that clear and starry
night Shepherds tending their sheep were
brought to fright The Lord had sent an angel
in a powerful glow To bring tidings of great
joy to the men below
 "Be
not afraid Jesus Christ is born The Savior of
the world for the lost and forlorn Go ye now
and give Praises to the One Whom God sent
into your world, His Begotten Son"
A
multitude of heavenly host with the angel
appeared Giving praise to God the Most High,
revered Singing peace on earth good will
toward all men The Redeemer's born who'll
relieve people's sin!
He's a Gift from
God's Heart and His Hand As it was written
and as it was planned From the beginning of
time when the earth He formed He always knew
we'd need a way to be transformed
