Brownies
Who
can ever forget that wonderful smell from the
oven of Mom baking brownies and that
delicious taste still warm from the oven
with a glass of milk.
1/2 cup butter 1/2
cup flour 2 ounces chocolate 2 eggs 1 cup
sugar 1 cup of nuts 1/8 teaspoon salt 1
teaspoon vanilla
Melt butter and
chocolate together. Beat eggs well and add
sugar. Stir butter and chocolate into eggs
and beat.
Sift flour once and measure.
Add salt to flour and sift into mixture.
Blend well.
Add vanilla and broken
nuts.
Pour into well-greased pan and
cook about 25 minutes in 325-degree oven.
Cut into squares.
